I am one of a small number of private individuals in the UK, recycling used cooking oil to make Bio Diesel for personal use. This process is carried out under exemptions issued by the Environment Agency and HMRC. Waste cooking oil is collected for recycling, free of charge from local pubs, restaurants and other food outlets.

I can help with regular and efficient oil collections.

Collection methods.

I have 3 types of collection method.

1) I can supply you with a 30l clip top drum. This is the best method if you receive your oil in metal drums and have to store the waste oil outside.

2) I can supply you with 20 litre containers which can be easily carried to and from the kitchen as required. When required I will collect full containers and replace them with empties ready for reuse.

3) I can collect in you original containers, if they are plastic and are kept sealed they can be stored out side, if  your oil is in metal cans they should be stored under cover as any water on the can can be drawn in to the can contaminating the oil and could cause the can to overflow making an oily mess.

If an alternative method suits you better then I'm more than happy to be flexible and accommodate your requirements. I will also remove any empty oil containers and recycle them for you.

Most of my customers txt me when a collection is required and I normally call in within a couple of days, other arrangements can be made on a case by case basis.
